Accountant (fixed- term until 31.05.2028)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, and high-quality financial reporting within an international and growing pharmaceutical organization.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

Managing daily accounting activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Preparing financial reports and assisting with statutory audits and financial statements.
Processing accounts payable and receivable activities and maintaining master data. Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
Supporting tax filings and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and legal requirements.
Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies while maintaining high data quality.
Contributing to process improvements, automation, and finance digitalization initiatives.

Your Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Accounting qualification or ongoing professional certification.
2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
Knowledge of IFRS and Austrian GAAP (UGB) accounting standards.
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (ideally Navision).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in German and English.
The ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
Hands-on mindset, flexibility, strong team orientation, and the willingness to continuously learn and develop.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 40.306,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
