AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for an Intellectual Property Manager (f/m/d).
In this role, you will identify new patent opportunities, manage existing portfolios, and ensure legal compliance. Your expertise in IP management, proactive approach and keen business acumen will be crucial in shaping our long-term strategies.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Prosecution and maintenance of trademark and brand portfolio of AOP Health Group
- Preparation and filing of new trademarks in cooperation with Alliance Management, Therapeutic Areas, and all-over strategic plans
- Information on current trademark status for internal and external stakeholders
- Cooperation with external patent and trademark representatives
- Maintenance of database for IP right management
- Identification of new patent possibilities in cooperation with R&D
- Preparation, literature research and filing for/of new patents
- Prosecution and maintenance of existing patent portfolio of AOP Health Group
- Evaluation of patent situation of BD projects
- FTO analysis during Due Diligence Information on current patent status for internal and external stakeholders
- Review and evaluation of IP clauses in contracts
- Preparing and performing of regular Trainings on IP
Your Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Natural Science
- You have 3+ years of experience in IP management
- You understand the business context of IP and can add ideas for the long-term strategy for our company
- Ability to pro-actively and independently structure work, prioritize and manage tasks and deadlines
- Highly developed organizational and presentation skills
- Hands-on mentality, determined to always deliver against objectives
- Good collaboration, organization and communication skills Fluent in English and German
- Experienced Office 365 User
