Anagrelide AOP is a medication that inhibits the production of blood platelets (thrombocytes) in the bone marrow.

Anagrelide AOP is used to lower platelet counts in patients with essential thrombocythemia. Essential thrombocythemia is a condition in which the bone marrow produces too many platelets. If there are too many platelets, this can lead to circulatory problems and blood clot formation. By reducing the platelet count, the risk of serious health problems decreases.
